Atlam Silver is a second generation family run business that has been trading for the best part of 40 years. Thirty years ago we moved to our shop on Portobello Road and since then we’ve become known for the variety, quality and excellent value for money of our stock.  

Our current silver expert, and world renowned pocket watch dealer, Bettina Skogland-Kirk is incredibly highly regarded in the antiques world and has appeared as an expert and advisor on such shows as Car Boot Booty and Cash in the Attic. She is always available to advise you on your purchases and you can meet her in person at our shop on 111 Portobello Road on a Saturday. Pearl and Hayley will also be there to help you out in anyway possible during Portobello Road’s world famous antique’s market. Saturdays are our busiest day though, with more than 50,000 visitors coming to sample the variety and atmosphere of the market every week. If you prefer to take your time shopping at leisure you can try visiting us during the week Monday- Friday when Bob Jordan will be looking after Atlam and will gladly help you to find the ideal item from our huge selection.  

If you can’t visit us in person you can speak to Bettina, Steve or Hayley during the week about any of the items on our website. We are a friendly close knit team and are always available to help you find that perfect present, investment piece or collector’s specialist item. In the unlikely event we don’t have exactly what you want at the moment our expertise in finding high quality and great value new pieces at the best prices means that it won’t be long before we have exactly what you need.
